Day 13

“For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.”

No kidding. 

Day 12

“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.”

Ephesians 6:10 KJV

I need strength. 

Day 9

“O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.”

Psalms 34:8 KJV

I need to keep trusting in God. 

Day 8

"Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength" Isaiah 26:4.

This is a really meaningful verse for me especially with everything that I struggled with this summer. Mainly, just being able to keep weight on and stay healthy. Sometimes my trust in God was all that I had or felt like I had in moments. And even though it was the hardest summer I've ever had to go through it was also one of the best and I definitely did see how He strengthened me.

What doesn't kill you really does make you stronger.

Day 7

“The Lord is far from the wicked: but he heareth the prayer of the righteous.”

Proverbs 15:29 KJV. 

I hope He finds me righteous in His sight. 

October 6

“And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.”

2 Thessalonians 3:5 KJV

I needed this verse today.

Day 3

"Jesus answered and said until him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him" John 14:23.

This is one of those verses that I feel can be read by itself and still hold it's meaning.
